The incredible nerve of Lisa Bougie, REI COOP director, appointed but not membership confirmed by an election

 On her Linkedin account Lisa Bougie has the nerve to write:

"Attention all REI members: I encourage you to review this year's board candidates and cast your vote by Saturday, January 31." 

Lisa herself preferred not to ask the membership for confirmation. Atfer all, what is membership for when it has the nerve to reject the board candidates!
