2026 Board nominated candidate Rose Marcario : withhold


 Rose Marcario's candidacy is board nominated. She is a former Patagonia's CEO. How many former CEOs does this board require? She is now a partner in ReGenVentures,  a venture fund. For me, the simple fact she is nominated by the Board calls for a withhold vote. No exception, no concession as they keep their oligarchic grip on the election selection process and and relentlessly coopt substitutes when they lose the election.

Next year it will be he turn of the present chair of the board to face a withhold vote if he chooses to face the membership. They have to realize no first time candidate nominated by the board will ever be elected and no standing board member will ever be reelected for a second term. The bylaws that created this oligarchic system have to be abolished, period. The sooner the better.
